Class Description
There are challenges and joys to being a leader in a group or organization that is composed mainly of volunteers. In this workshop, we will work together to tackle a variety of questions, such as: how does a leader cultivate a shared sense of purpose among volunteers? Where is the leader’s influence, without clear authority within the role? How do we increase a sense of ownership and responsibility within the group? How do we forge ahead to get the work done when sometimes people would rather be critics than worker bees? We will also reflect on the issue of trust—how is it cultivated, what increases and what decreases trust within a group or organization. Come with questions, examples, insights and stories.
Donations are always welcome and appreciated!
