Resting to Rise: A Daring to Rest Community Nap
Trainer:
Benita Jackson is Professor of Psychology at Smith College, Director of the Society, Psychology, and Health Laboratory, and a Trained Facilitator in the Daring to Rest methodology.
Class Description
Want to change the world – but are bone tired? Participate in a community nap with other motivated but weary folks interested in personal growth for social transformation. Fuel leadership development with this introduction to Daring to Rest – a profoundly healing practice that involves lying down, resting, and resetting one’s nervous system to plug back into personal power. (This class will require mats and blankets. Please bring those with you, if you can. We will have some available for you as well. Chairs will also be available for those who choose not to lie down.)
