Organizing Around the 2020 Elections: What You Should Know, What You Can Do, Where and How to Be Most Effective

With Election Day bearing down on us now, we are all organizing like our lives depend on the outcome – and in fact our lives MAY depend on the outcome.

Organizing Around the 2020 Elections: What You Should Know, What You Can Do, Where and How to Be Most Effective

With Election Day bearing down on us now, we are all organizing like our lives depend on the outcome – and in fact our lives MAY depend on the outcome. In these final weeks before Election Day, we need to be clear about what to do, where to put our energy, what to avoid, and how to be most effective. Join veteran activists and organizers Kristen and Sam for a high powered, highly interactive, high stakes workshop! Come ready to learn a lot, share a lot, and be inspired, supported, and refueled. You will leave knowing what next steps to take as we move toward a historic election where so much hangs in the balance.

Trainers: Sam Hopper has worked as a data and organizational coordinator on several municipal, state, and cross-state campaigns. She currently works as the Director of Constituent Engagement for a Massachusetts State Senator where she helps constituents effectively navigate state government. In her work, Sam’s goal is to bring transparency, proactive communication, and a philosophy of meeting people where they are to foster a more informed and engaged community; and Kristen Elechko, principal of Cascade Consulting, who has served as the interim director of a political and leadership training program for women. She has been the campaign manager and has directly led fundraising, communications and marketing, and regional organizing efforts for multiple candidates running for city council, state representative, and the US Senate.
