The class discussion will include creating inclusive classrooms, work spaces, worship spaces, and ways to move through life with a more open heart and open mind. As educator Tasondra says, "You do not have to understand all the LGBTQ+ phrases and stages to use someone's correct pronouns; you do not need to be ethnic to appreciate the beauty of diversity; you do not need to have special needs to be kind and take notice." As a mixed race LGBTQ+ mom raising a mixed race and multiple gendered bonus family who also works with children of all ages, Tasondra has a unique perspective on honoring diversity and working to promote the creation of inclusive spaces.
